Adopt a 'daily hug' - give a physical or metaphorical hug (a warm word, compliment, or gesture of care) to at least one person every day, in the spirit of the concern Dan showed for those around him.

Create 'attention to others' - dedicate special attention to whoever is sitting, working, or nearby you, and check if they need help, encouragement, or simply someone to listen.

Make a conscious choice once a day to ask someone in your close surroundings 'How are you?' out of genuine interest, and be willing to act if help is needed, as a way to continue Dan's legacy of caring.
